Amazon Fire Stick Audio Delay

The audio is just a tad behind the video and the delay is present on everything.

There is no setting in the stick to change the audio delay.
Is there anyone else seeing the same problem?

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have just got one which is plugged directly into my AV8802a and the audio delay is way off. Also it sounds hollow (hard to explain), just plain wrong

I wanted to add some info for people having the audio sync issues with the Amazon Fire Stick. The audio issues seem to happen, at least with me, with videos I stream from my computer. However, I have for the most part found a fix after troubleshooting.

First off, it appears it’s out of sync by about 3 seconds (3000ms). So to fix this I pause the video and then press the MENU button on the Fire remove (the lines). Then SIX BUTTONS will appear. Just scroll forward until you get to AUDIO… then… making sure the PLUS is selected.. add +3000ms to the Audio to bring it in sync… Then the video seems to play OK.

It’s a pain to do this all the time but it appears to be the only solution available… I might consider picking up a Chromecast in the future.

This is not my experience at all. The audio is delayed by a couple of hundred milliseconds. Pressing the Menu button when pausing playback does not show six buttons.

Are using kodi on the fire tv? Sounds like your bringing up the kodi OSD and changing the
delay in that

I have had lip sync issues with Amazon Prime on Fire TV and Apple TV.

The new Chromecast casting from my iPhone seems fine though, so far.

Yes, fixed for me too on Amazon Prime content only issue.

Got old Apple TV. Turned off Dolby Digital in the Apple TV menu and lip sync seems spot on now.
